What is a completion certificate (TIG)?
A completion certificate (TIG) helps document performance between the parties that must be issued for every trip of every goods vehicle. It must record: the date of the trip, the driver's name and details, the vehicle's registration, the route (place of departure and arrival), the kilometres travelled, and details of the cargo carried. The purpose of the TIG is to support the recorded use of the vehicle during an inspection.
When is a completion certificate issued?
A completion certificate is typically issued when performance of a delivered trip or service has to be evidenced towards the customer. A completion certificate (TIG) documents performance between the contracting parties and may form part of the invoicing, bookkeeping or internal approval process.
